Will Thomson State Farm is hiring a driven, sales-focused Account Representative who thrives in a performance-based environment. If you enjoy prospecting, uncovering client needs, and confidently closing business, this role is built for you.
This is not a passive service position—production is the priority. Your ability to generate revenue, cross-sell effectively, and convert opportunities will directly impact your income and long-term growth.
Licensing Requirements
This is a fully licensed role
- Property & Casualty license required prior to Day 1
- Life & Health license required within 45 days of hire
- Full support provided for licensing, onboarding, and training
Prior sales experience is required. Insurance or State Farm experience is a plus, but not required.
What You’ll Do
As an Account Representative, you’ll play a key role in driving agency growth through both inbound and outbound sales efforts.
- Generate new business through calls, referrals, follow-ups, and outreach
- Quote, present, and close auto, home, renters, and life insurance policies
- Conduct policy reviews to uncover gaps and cross-sell additional coverage
- Convert inbound leads into bound policies through strong sales execution
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and documentation
- Deliver a high level of service while staying focused on production
